Tebogo Malebogo is a South African Film Director based between New York City and Johannesburg. His goal is to create narratives that imagine Black and South African stories and perspectives not often seen in cinema.

Malebogo‘s films have screened at Locarno Film Festival, New Directors/New Films, Blackstar Film Festival, New York Film Festival, SXSW, Clermont-Ferrand, and AFI Fest among others. His works have been programmed on Le Cinéma Club, Topic, Argo, Vimeo Staff Picks and MUBI.

Tebogo has been supported by BAFTA, Berlinale Talents, The New York Foundation for the Arts, SFFILM, The Kenneth Rainin Foundation, The Purin Foundation, Blacktag, and initiatives at New York University, where he received a scholarship to study in the Graduate Film Department.

Currently in development on two feature films; Where is the Healer? and The Blanket People.
