Tebogo Malebogo is a film director and screenwriter. His goal is to produce work that reimagines and expands on South African stories and perspectives rarely seen in cinema. He is currently in development on two feature-length projects: Where is the Healer? which explores street casting, fake miracles, and urban myth-making in modern South Africa, and Zama Zama, an urban folklore which takes place in the world of South Africa’s gold mines. Malebogo recently graduated from New York University’s Graduate Film Program. He grew up in the United Kingdom, Canada, Kenya, and South Africa.
